ATEN Introduces New VanCryst™ Professional A/V Products at Integrated Systems Russia 2012

Taipei, Taiwan (October 22, 2012) – ATEN International, a leading designer and manufacturer of advanced connectivity solutions, today announced its participation in the upcoming Integrated Systems Russia (ISR) trade show, held at Convention Centre “EXPOCENTRE”, Moscow from October 30 to November1, 2012. In Pavilions№5 / booth 5-200,ATEN will introduce new product additions to its VanCryst™ line of professional A/V solutions. Exhibition highlights include new HD 8x8 matrix video switch, the Cat 5 A/V splitter VS1504/VS1508, and the A/V matrix switch VM0808T.

ATEN’s VanCryst™ professional A/V solutions are flexible and scalable, allowing A/V installations to be tailored to meet the needs of specific locations or demographics. Fully aware of the urgency of a product inquiry from integrators and installers, ATEN aims to meet that demand by ensuring all ATEN A/V products are made widely available through a range of IT and A/V distributors.

VM0808H 8x8 HDMI Matrix Switch:

ATEN’s new VM0808H is an 8x8 HD matrix video switch that is capable of routing up to eight HDMI sources to a maximum of eight HDMI displays -- ideal for multi-screen home theater installations. The VM0808H offers a "Power on Detection" feature where, if an HDMI source is powered off, the unit can automatically switch to the next powered-on source. The matrix switch is fully HDMI and HDCP compatible. It supports long distance transmission (up to 65 feet) over high quality HDMI cables. The VM0808H also boasts an ATEN exclusive Scheduling Program that provides users with the ability to switch content to each display on a customizable schedule.

VanCryst™ Media Distribution Solution:

The VanCryst Media Distribution Solution includes the Cat 5 A/V splitters VS1504 and VS1508 (1 input / 4 or 8 outputs), the Cat 5 A/V repeater VB552 for signal repetition, and the A/V receiver VE200R. The Media Distribution Solution is a flexible, scalable and efficient solution for transmitting high-quality audio and video content from one source to multiple displays. The signals can be sent to thousands of displays, expanding bridged distances from 150 to up to 450 meters.

VanCryst™ Media Matrix Solution:

The VanCryst Media Matrix Solution combines the VM0808T, an 8 input / 8 output Cat 5 A/V matrix switch, and the VE500 Over Cat 5 extender to deliver high quality audio and video content over Cat 5e cable (or higher) from up to eight input sources to multiple displays over distances of up to 300 meters. ATEN’s “independent switching” technology allows the audio and video signals to be freely combined with each other and sent flexibly to the output devices. Users can connect any audio source with any video source for more output flexibility. The solution provides a browser-based web page interface for remote access via the internet. In addition, the VM0808T is standard equipped with a ninth input and output port that will connect to an additional local screen and video source which can be used as a reference during the switching process.
