PASCO Digital Labs encourage young scientists to explore the world empirically

Polymedia Company, system integrator, developer and provider of education, announced its alliance with PASCO scientific, US digital educational laboratories manufacturer, that consequence the creation of new interactive solutions and projects in the sphere of ICT for Education and students scientific activities.

Production of the new Polymedia’s partner includes sensors to collect data in real-time, software for data visualization and analysis, interactive labs and lab equipment - all designed for practical training on any subjects from chemistry, physics and biology to elementary school subjects.

PASCO scientific is a company leader in the production of digital educational laboratories for 50 years. Over the years the devices have become popular among school teachers, university professors, students from more than 80 countries in the world. According to official data, in 2012 the company sold 47, 5 thousand sensors in the U.S. and 85.827 thousand worldwide. Most of the digital laboratory in demand in physics classes (sold 17,460 sensors), Chemistry (9057) and bio (8539), although in America sensors are also purchased for Earth/Enviro (5639), engineering classes (736), and the General Science classes (1296).

Novikova also said that Polymedia sees in Digital Labs a great potential to create their integration projects for educational institutions – multifunctional integrated classes, distance learning systems, multimedia centers of communication etc.
